of Bethshan." 1 Samuel 31:8 This city was an ancient Canaanite city, but Rome took it and developed an incredible dwelling place for thousands to live. The most remarkable parts of this city were how the water from a nearby spring used to run throughout the city, making interesting water spouts, cleaning toilet droppings, and the huge columns that held up the roofs. They must have loved the theatre because the theatre was incredible and
the sound traveled better than if you used a microphone.
