Christmas Party Fun Activities
Good for any Christmas party!
"Gift Wrap":
Get 2 groups (3 or 4 members) and supply them with
wrapping paper supplies. (Tape, scissors, bows, ribbons, paper, etc) Tell them
that they have 5 minutes to wrap one of the members of the group as "pretty"
as possible. At the end, give a prize for each group. Very funny.

"Bobbing for
Snowballs":
Get 2 large bowls and fill with 1/3 bag of marshmallows.
Cover marshmallows with plenty of baking flour so they are almost buried.
Select 2 youth members (usually 13 yr. old boys are best), and have them step
up to the bowl and put their hands behind their back. Tell them they must pick
out 3 or 5, depending on how messy you want it to get, and put them outside of
the bowl. They both deserve a prize. FUNNY!

"Pin the decorations on the Christmas tree": Played a lot like pin the tail on the donkey, except you cut out a large tree, place on the wall, and give some decorations to a blindfolded youth after being spun around and see what happens. Good for a few laughs!
"Christmas Song Scramble": Type out some Christmas songs and divide into lines of 8 sections. (Make sure you give out all 8 sections - for smaller groups, you can try 6 or 5 sections) Hand out to players just before the game, making sure not to give out sections that belong right next to each other. Tell the players when the game begins, to find all of the sections to their song. The first group to get their song in the complete, correct order, wins the game. (To help with those who may not know the songs of the season that well, you can tape the whole song on a wall so players can check their order in the song) May get loud but good for an ice breaker!
